Decide when the session ends

Choose how much time you want to spend before starting. Tell the other players if you have a stopping time, and agree how to handle an unfinished round. Avoid starting another game just to undo a frustrating result.

Respect the other players

Agree on rules before playing, allow beginners time to learn and keep disagreements about the move rather than the person. Stop for a break when the session is becoming more frustrating than enjoyable.

Keep games separate from income expectations

Our guides are about understanding games, not earning money from them. No dice pattern or strategy promises a return. A guide should not be treated as encouragement to pay to enter a contest.

Choose a comfortable pace

Use natural pauses between games to put the screen down and change activity. If play repeatedly gets in the way of everyday commitments or feels hard to stop, step back and seek support from someone you trust or a qualified professional.
